Once upon a time…. Hey, all the best stories start that way! 😊 Anyway, this best story starts early in 2015. Jason had started working as the delivery manager at the Furniture and Appliancemart during their renovation of the west Madison building in 2014 and Renae started training in the office in early 2015. The first time they met (Renae doesn’t fully remember) was during one of her training sessions that Jason had to present at. After that, they saw each other semi-regularly whenever Jason needed to take care of something out on the sales floor. Soon thereafter Renae had asked to ‘friend’ Jason on Facebook (as she tends to do). Within a few days, Jason made a comment to Renae that her son Brady was such a cutie- and Renae blushed her way back to her desk. They spent time together at the grand opening of the store and Jason asked Renae if she would join him for a drink at Bonfyre Grill a few days later. And the courtship was on…..

They went together to Door County in the summer- a first for Jason. He got to meet Brady and spend time with him. Renae moved in with Jason at the end of 2015 and never looked back.

In the fall of 2017 they found out their little family was going to be growing by one member. Little Paisley made her entrance in May of 2018- a full three weeks early.

December 26th 2018 was a trivia night. Those of you who know Jason, know he loves trivia. And since they serve wine on trivia nights, Renae loves trivia too! But on this night, instead of the questions being asked to Jason and the team, Jason got up and asked one of Renae- “Will you marry me?” Renae said yes and the planning was on!

But life has it’s own plans sometimes and the wedding planning took a backseat to some of those life plans. We moved to the Stevens Point area for three terrific years. Certain challenges came their way and they did the best they could to navigate them. Through it all, they still loved each other and their kids very, very much.

And now the time is right, the circumstances are right, and life is right for that wedding to finally happen! We can’t wait to celebrate with all the people we love and who love us in April 2025! See you there!
